A little christmas update!

Yay, got a new job almost immediately after finishing at Studio SOI. I am now working at Ghost VFX in Copenhagen. Also, I promised to update if there was anything to show from "Room on the Broom". Now, there is something! BBC has put together a short teaser for what they will be showing during Christmas and in that teaser are several shots from the movie - it is the one that looks like an animated movie!

So, for the past 6 months I have been working at Studio SOI in Ludwigsburg, Germany. I have been working as a Nuke Compositor on Room on the Broom. I started there early in the compositing phase and I got to be lead compositor on two big sequences. The movie looks amazing and I am very proud to have been working on the project because it is absolutely beautiful!
I wish there was something I could show you from the actual movie but as of yet, nothing has been realeased but I will post it here as soon as there is something and watch out for it on a TV near you come Christmas 2012 - be excited!!

Nuke showreel 2012

Oh, look. It is The Foundry's latest showreel!
And yes, there is a reason why I am posting this on my blog. A shot I comped is in there. It is very short - but it there. The whole thing is worth a look, but if you just want to see my shot then skip ahead to around 1:44. It is after the Captain America shots. It is a robot chasing an jetfighter shot from behind.
It was a shot I did while on an internship at Unexpected GmbH in Stuttgart, Germany. GREAT STUDIO!

Going to Cannes!

Slug Invasion has been absent from Vimeo and Youtube for a while but now I can tell you why!
It is going to Cannes!! Wup wuuup!!
It is a part of the Cinefondation Selection and is among 15 films chosen from 1700 submitted films - which is freaking awesome.
Unfortunately, this means that Slug Invasion will be unavailable a while longer, but hey I am going to Cannes!

Slug Invasion

This is the online premier of the Bachelor/Graduation film from The Animation Workshop I worked up until summer 2011.
My roles on this production were Previz (storyboard, 3d animatic), compositing (Fusion), master exploder(Maya Fluids) and editing(Premier).
